Explore History is the official app of the Oklahoma History Center. This on-site app provides interactive stops throughout the museum for a new engaging experience. Using Bluetooth technology, information and games related to the History Center s exhibits will be sent to your smart device as you explore the museum. Special Device Requirements: Bluetooth must be turned on for full functionality. Location Services must be enabled to utilize iBeacon technology. Features: * Introductory information about the Oklahoma History Center, the Oklahoma Historical Society Research Center, and the State Historic Preservation Office * Quizzes and Games to enhance the museum exhibits * Additional photographs and knowledge related to specific artifacts and overarching themes *** NOTE *** Since iBeacon is part of Location Services, we need this permission to detect beacons. We will never access your GPS location without your knowledge. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
Requires iOS 8.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

How to install Explore History on your iOS device:
- Click on the Continue To App button on our website. This will redirect you to the App Store.
- Once the Explore History is shown in the iTunes listing of your iOS device, you can start its download and installation. Tap on the GET button to the right of the app to start downloading it.
- If you are not logged-in the iOS appstore app, you'll be prompted for your your Apple ID and/or password.
- After Explore History is downloaded, you'll see an INSTALL button to the right. Tap on it to start the actual installation of the iOS app.
- Once installation is finished you can tap on the OPEN button to start it. Its icon will also be added to your device home screen.
